That the government introduce legislation to amend current criminal law by introducing a requirement for courts to award a restitution penalty as part of sentencing. This penalty to be paid from the assets of the criminal(s), including moneys held by financial institutions, the sale of goods and property of all descriptions. Restitution awarded by the court should be paid to the victim(s) of the crime, without any deduction.
