In a time of cuts to policing and education should we really think about investing £25 billion on renewing trident in 2016. The £25 billion does not include the price to buy new warheads. We live in an age where terrorism is the main threat. A nuclear weapon cannot be used to combat terrorism. The money could be much better spent especially in a time of a gloomy economic outlook and climate change.
