I introduced a motion on a similar topic at a Teachers' Conference last year, which gained much national publicity. Not all schools have a garden but all can do something in aa container or similar. Help can be given by the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and similar campaigns.

Evidence shows that outdoor learning can improve the mental health of particpants, and introducing children to New healthy foods can help to reduce obesity.
