This petition was submitted during the 2010-2015 parliament
Rejected petition make Christianity a multifaith country instead of a christian country.
More details
The term Christian Country makes no sense; it is rumoured that it claims Christianty dominates our society through numbers but even if this were true it would not negate the fact that their are many religions.
It also claims that modern principal and etiquete is christian but their is only one ethics, ancient ideas based on human instincs, so politics, law, trade, philosophy/ritual and science is as much Pagan as it is Christian.
The next rumour to consider is the idea that Christianity has dominated Goverment through numbers; if this were true it would not alter the fact that many religions have affected Goverment.
Christians claim Paganism has not evolved, and nolonger exists because the contrary argues that it holds power in a "multicultural society". Statistics on religious aliance cannot be verified by pole as society finds it difficult to label primarily as a result of needing to belong to a "Christian Country".
