Closed End free movement of pets to UK to prevent parasite blinding people and pets.

The pet passport scheme allows EU pets to pass through borders without quarantine allowing the spread of an oriental eye worm that blinds both animals and people. We must quarantine travelling animals and treat them if infected. Infections in humans have been reported throughout mainland Europe.
