Rejected petition Extend the decency laws to prevent graphic images showing loss of life from being published.
More details
We would like the Government to prohibit the gratuitous publication of graphic and explicit images showing the loss of life, whether it be a sportsperson, a soldier, a world leader, whatever.
Examples would be the pictures of Gadaffi's body, the death of MotoGP racer Marco Simoncelli or Supersport racer Craig Jones, the execution of Saddam Hussein etc.
