For Free trials of services companies request payment details for the said trials. Failure to terminate at the end of a trial would normal mean services are charged for the next billing period. They should provide a option to terminate at point of registering for free trail or terminate at expiry

They are all are relying on some income from those that forget to terminate. A free trial in good faith would not require payment method. It should be illegal not to auto terminate or give the option to terminate at the point of registering
