The Prime Minister has gone back on pledges on referendums on Europe he made before entering office and has used his own whips to ensure that a vote in Parliament to hold a referendum on Europe which a large percentage of voters want failed.

The British public want a referendum to decide once and for all whether to stay with or leave the EU.

A debate should now be held to question whether the Prime Minister is suitable for office after using his position to ensure the referendum vote failed
