Closed Make all public body shaming in the media, and in public, a criminal offence.

94% of teenagers girls have faced being body shamed - this causes teenagers to be body dimorphic, depressed, anorexic and in severe cases, can lead them to have suicidal thoughts. It is a very serious problem, especially in the era of social media and nothing is being done about it.

Body-shaming:
>The action or practice of humiliating someone by making mocking or critical comments about their body shape or size.

Body dimorphic disorder (BDD) is a mental disorder characterized by the obsessive idea that some aspect of one's own appearance is severely flawed and warrants exceptional measures to hide or fix it.
