Petition Make it illegal for coaches to transport children with inadequate seatbelts

In 2016 4% of road deaths were children (a). The law states very clearly that "you can be fined up to £500 if a child isn’t in the correct seat while you’re driving" (b). Yet currently minibuses and coaches are exempt; "the law does not require passengers under 14 years old to wear a seat belt" (c)
