Rejected petition Scrap the e-petition System and Save the Money

The recent debacle over the European Referendum has shown that there is absolutely no point in having this system in place.

If our elected representative want to hear the public's voice then all the major party leaders should not direct their colleagues to vote against the will of the people.

What happened last night was a total travesty and if the government is not prepared to listen to their electorate, then the e-petitions site should be closed down and the money better used.
