This would give Ex-Servicement the same rights with their pension pots as similar civilian pension holders.

This would allow the Ex-Servicemen to either buy, upscale or simply reduce their mortgages, thus providing living security. It would also provide the Ex-Servicemen with the exact same options with their pension pots as their civilian counterparts.
