Every year people and animals (domestic and farm) are frightened to death from the noise of Fireworks often resulting in DEATH
People enjoy fireworks so making them silent would not stop their enjoyment.

The problem with fireworks is they are not set off on set dates ie: Bonfire Night, New Year, Diwali, they seem to go off at all times of the year and day or night. Then you have the people who enjoy setting them of to create a nuisance, silent fireworks may take the nuisance factor away from them. Animals are dying every year through fear from the noise from them. Many adults and children are very scared off them and the noise can be a trigger factor for many veterans.
