The proposal is that Parliamentary Constituencies be paired and that one be Reserved for Men and the other for Women. It is not suggested that any serving MP be required to Stand Down; under this Proposal only when a Member does not seek Re-Election would the Rule be applied. Meanwhile Candidates for an (M) Constituency would consist of The Serving MP,if they seek Re-Election and only Male Candidates standing against them. In a (W) Constituency only the Serving MP and Female Candidates would be eligible.
