Rejected petition Transfer the EU Protocol on animal sentience set out in Article 13 into UK law.

Caroline Lucas atttempted to transfer the recognition of animal sentience into UK law so that animals would continue to receive this after Brexit. MPs rejected the amendment.

We want the amendment to pass to reflect the understanding of the scientific community and ethical stance of the UK.
