Rejected petition Refund stamp duty paid by first time buyers in the last 6 months

The government has abolished stamp duty with immediate effect and no warnings given, meaning first time buyers who happened to complete their purchase the day before the announcement are left thousands of pounds out of pocket compared to those who happened to complete the day after.
