Petition Make the Treasury remove the VAT on fuel duty

If you buy fuel at £1.229 per litre, petrol or diesel, are you aware that 11.59 pence of the total VAT on the fuel you purchase is actually a tax upon the fuel duty, which is also a government tax on fuel!!!

If the VAT on the fuel duty is removed, then the £1.229p cost of fuel will reduce to £1.02p!!!!
