Rejected petition Re-mark the Broomway, a public byway between Wakering Stairs and Foulness Island

The Broomway is a byway open to all traffic across Maplin Sands off the Essex foreshore, linking Wakering Stairs to Foulness Island. The road was once marked with up-ended brooms; these were washed away by the sea some years ago. We respectfully petition that Her Majesty's brooms be replaced.
