Julian Assange of Wikileaks cannot leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in London because he fears arrest & extradition to the USA. Swedish prosecutors have dropped a rape investigation. The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has found that he is subject to arbitrary detention.

There is still a UK arrest warrant for Julian Assange for a breach of bail conditions related to the now dropped rape investigation. The issue is that the UK Government will not guarantee his safe passage.
