Petition Disabled Facilities Grant should be available to everyone who is disabled

Disabled people can only qualify for a grant if they are on means-tested benefits or have an annual household income less then £16,000. If you are getting DLA or PIP and working tax credits you should be able to access the Disabled Facilities Grant.

As a young disabled woman I have found it impossible to get a grant for wheelchair access adaptations to my home, all because I work part time and my parents work full time. The Government need to change the criteria for Disabled Facilities Grants.
