Rejected petition To stop paracetamol being prescribed by the NHS in England & Wales.
Doctors in England & Wales to stop prescribing paracetamol on prescription. When I lost my son Oliver James to a life threatening condition in Aug 2016; I went to the doctors at this time I noticed that the NHS in my area spent too much money in one year on prescriptions.
More details
There is information available about the NHS prescribing paracetamol. It costs the NHS too much money when it could go on other treatments. In Teesside alone £1.4 million was spent on the medication. Paracetamol is easily accessible in shops.
