The Government has announced a reduction in the amount of Feed-in-Tariif to be paid from 12th December 2011.

The proposals for a 50% cut from December were confirmed in a statement by DECC.

This announcement is absolutely outrageous considering the current state of our economy.

At a time when the Government is encouraging businesses to grow how do they justify making an announcement about this reduction knowing full well that this will cause thousands of jobs to be lost and hundreds of businesses to close.

If this is how this Government expects the public to listen to them on green issues then we are doomed as a nation.

The Government must reverse it's decision on this massive reduction immediately thus helping to safeguard not only jobs and businesses but also the world that we live in.
