Petition Stop pharmacies from throwing away unused drugs returned when no longer required

When a patient has no further use for prescribed drugs, we are encouraged to return them to a pharmacy. However, current practice is to destroy the drugs, even when it can easily be confirmed whether or not the drugs have already been opened. This wasteful practice should end, saving the NHS money.
