We believe that geriatric wards are both discriminatory and offer lower quality care than mainstream NHS wards. We would like to see all patients, regardless of age but mindful of gender, treated within the same wards - streamed by medical condition not age. A more general demography would prevent mistreatment and neglect - with patients aware of each other needs.
