Rejected petition Cut the number of MPs or make them take a pay freeze for the next 10 years.
Vital British services have suffered from pay freezes, reductions in staffing numbers and reduced budgets. All in the name of austerity. MPs' salaries rose 10% since the last parliament . Why can’t we cut the number of MPs to help us save money or better yet why can’t they have a pay freeze?
