More details

It's hard going for children who have long stays in hospital and there doesn't seem to be any real reason why they shouldn't be able to access the internet and be able to pass endless hours why going threw treatment.

Thank you for taking the time to read this

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

We can’t accept your petition because hospitals in Scotland are the responsibility of the Scottish Government, not the UK Government. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.

If you haven’t already, you might want to contact your MSP about this issue. You can find out who your MSP is here: http://www.parliament.scot/msps.aspx

You could also contact NHS Highland about the wifi and internet access at the hospital in Inverness. You can find out how to do that here: http://www.nhshighland.scot.nhs.uk/Feedback/Pages/welcome.aspx

The Scottish Parliament has its own Public Petitions Committee. You can get in contact with them at petitions@scottish.parliament.uk.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
