In recent years, the amount of litter discarded on streets and other public places has accumulated on a worrying scale. It looks horrible, it attracts vermin and it gives our country a bad reputation. This petition gives the government a chance to finally get a grip on this issue and implement tougher laws and stronger policing to restore Britain to the clean, pleasant green place it once was and hopefully can be again.
