Petition Charge a set £5 fee for every use of the NHS (i.e. GPs, ambulance or hospital)

Although we pay a contribution toward the NHS from our wages I feel there should also be a set fee. We pay for home and motor insurance that we may never use, and when we do we pay an excess. I feel the NHS should be no different.

The NHS is a great service, but society has changed considerably in the 70 years since its inception and the way the NHS is funded should be changed to reflect this.
