The MOD are planning for the scenario that the US may wish to initiate military action against Iran for its nuclear program, which is alleged to be attempting to create weapons grade enriched uranium suitable for use in a nuclear weapon.

Irrespective of whether Iran is shown to be planning to create nuclear weapons, the MOD should refrain from accompanying the US in any military action that may take place as a result, as well as refrain from providing any resources for any military action, such as allowing the US use of UK naval or terrestrial bases.
