Closed For Student Finance England to acknowledge their mistakes with payment errors!

In March 2018 2nd / 3rd year nursing & health care students from universities in the UK were informed Student Finance England had mistakenly overpaid them and consequently blocked any further payments. We are aware the number of students affected is growing and could now have reached over 1000.

Students clarified their payment total but were reassured this was correct. Immediate payments are being demanded by SFE and have left students leaving their course due to financial pressures and is affecting the emotional wellbeing of students.

We would like:
A public apology from SFE

To have repayment plans based on individuals circumstances

To cut interest charges on overpayments as compensation for distress

Financial support for 2nd year students to continue their training
