Rejected petition Allow home owners to protect themselves against intruders without prosecution

As a step father of 4 children, I would like to think that I can protect them in my own house without fear of being prosecuted for assault or even worse murder, giving criminals a right while they are comitting a crime should not be allowed, we should be able to protect our family in the family home
