To review and revise the Fireworks Act 2003 in order to:

- prohibit the sale of Fireworks to individuals for personal use;
- prohibit the use of Fireworks in anything other than professionally organised displays;
- prohibit the use of Fireworks in residential housing estates;
- prohibit the use of Fireworks on any days other than 5th November, 31st December, and the celebration of Diwali;
- prohibit the use of Fireworks on any days after 11pm, with the exception of 31st December/1st January after 12.30am; and,
- impose suitable sanctions on persons violating this.
