Rejected petition Turn Wembley stadium into a place of national heritage so that it can’t be sold
Rejected on
Wembley stadium is where England play all of their matches. The stadium is synonymous with football and should be protected from being sold off
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
Listing the Wembley Stadium as a national heritage site would not prevent it from being sold. We're therefore not exactly sure what you want to happen.
You could start a new petition asking the UK Government to buy Wembley stadium, if that's what you want to happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
