Rejected petition Ban Non Jury Trials
British people have the right to jury trials, The iconic reference to ‘the lawful judgment of his peers’ as a precondition for loss of liberty has helped in later centuries to entrench the right to jury trial in our pantheon of liberties. Imprisonment without judgement of his his peers is tyranny.

Magna Carta 2015: No free man shall be seized, imprisoned, dispossessed, outlawed, exiled or ruined in any way, nor in any way proceeded against, except by the lawful judgement of his peers and the law of the land.
This law is still valid today as one of the most fundamental rights of citizens. Trial without Jury's are unconstitutional and tyrannous.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you'd like to ban a specific kind of non-jury trial, or whether you'd like custodial sentences to be able to be given only when a jury has been involved in a case.
Non-jury trials can happen in cases where there is danger of jury tampering or where jury tampering has taken place. You can find out more about this here:

Magistrates' courts can give custodial sentences, but don't have juries. You can find out more about sentencing in magistrates' courts here:
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
