MPs should be held accountable to their actions, if they are elected on certain promises made in their manifestos they should have to at least attempt to deliver on them, regardless of the undemocratic system of Party Whips or their own career prospects. Stop MPs failing to represent the views of their constituents.
For Example: if an MP is elected because he/she promises to lower student fees and subsequently votes to raise those fees he/she should be held accountable long before the next general election in 2015
