Closed Make the A1 junction with the A46 at Newark in Nottinghamshire safe.

The A1 at Newark is a very busy.
There are regular fatal accidents on this section of the road. Specifically where the A1 meets the A46 and A17. Both slip roads on North and South are too short. The slip roads need to be longer or traffic lights putting on each roundabout either side.

Our local MP has acknowledged this issue in the past but nothing seems to have been done as yet.
