Rejected petition Condemn the use of the phrase "Kurdish terrorism" by PM Teresa May
On May 15 2018 during a press conference with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan British Prime Minister Teresa May outrageously used the phrase “Kurdish Terrorism”. This insensitive use of this expression contradicts the values and principles the UK claims to uphold.
More details
This wrong choice of words by a leader of a major democracy is only used by the enemies of the Kurdish people – a subjugated people that have been denied all linguistic, cultural and political rights in their native homeland Kurdistan. To redress this insult to 40 million Kurds and the sizeable Kurdish community in the UK it is only appropriate that PM Teresa May apologises
