Diamond Decoraration should include members of ALL Emergency Services including Airport Fire & Rescue personnel

The Culture Secretary has stated that
"The Government, on behalf of The Queen, wants to recognise and reward the hard work, sacrifice and dedication of its key front line services. I understand that the Airport Fire & Rescue Service is part of the private sector, which means, unfortunately, that its employees will not be eligible for the Medal, as the costs are being borne by individual Government Departments.

Even though many members of the Airport Fire & Rescue Service are proud holders of the Queens Golden Jubilee Medal
