Clear mandatory front of pack labelling of non-UK produced meat and eggs or products containing them sold in all UK retail and food outlets
The UK (rightly) has mandatory welfare and provenance regulations with regard to meat and egg farms. So as not to disadvantage the UK, clear labelling should be mandatory on the face of all food packaging from meat, eggs and food products made from such food from non-UK sources where they are produced in an environment with lower standards.
The consumer has the right to be informed and make an intelligent choice based on clear information
