Rejected petition Have all social workers wear body cameras
Social workers should wear body cameras to ensure that there is no miscommunication or lies. Many social workers have been caught out right lying to take people's children or put elderly people in care homes.

This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Responsibility for social work is devolved. The UK Government would be responsible for taking this action in England, but not in other parts of the UK.
You could start a new petition calling for social workers in England to be required to wear body cameras, if that's what you'd like to happen.
The Scottish Parliament has its own Public Petitions Committee. If you'd like to send your petition to the Scottish Parliament, you can find out more here:

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
