There should be free public transport for people under pension age who have stage 4 cancer, or similarly life-shortening illnesses.
This entitlement will end at pension age to be replaced by the freedom pass.

Those diagnosed with life-shortening illnesses will not have the opportunity to use free public transport for as long as the rest of the public on average.
