Campaign medals were never awarded to Bomber Command at the conclusion of WW2. 55,000 crew died in the service of their country, nearly half of Bomber Command. Their sacrifice paved the way for the D-Day invasion. The government is asked to right this injustice and to award a WW2 Campaign Medal for every member of Bomber Command in recognition of their service and sacrifice
