Rejected petition Ban Dog walking in summer heat.
Dogs Die from heatstroke during the hot summer weather , they also suffer from horrendous burns on there feet, Owners should be sensible and only walk them in the coolest of times of the day not when it is extremely hot. We as humans cannot stand the heat imagine walking around in a big fur coat.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about dogs overheating during the summer. However, animal cruelty is already a criminal offence under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, so we're not sure what other action you'd like Government or Parliament to take.
If you're concerned about a specific incident, you may wish to report it directly to the RSPCA:

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
