Parking on yellow lines during the day (outside of commuter traffic) will allow for people to visit local shops and bring back the small shopkeeper. This will encourage employment and trade. The continued restrictions have encouraged retail parks and the death of High Street shops. Make all commuter routes totally restricted for parking but outside of high traffic volumes allow for people to park without huge charges and penalties.
