There have been many example of children (and some adults) dying because medical treatment has been denied for religious reasons.

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

It's already the case that if a parent or guardian refuses to give consent to a particular treatment, this decision can be overruled by the courts if treatment is thought to be in the best interests of the child. We're therefore not sure what further action you'd like to see.
