most frontline medics within the armed forces receive excellent training but achieve no civilian qualification or transferable status to the civilian world.
so after twenty two years as a medic dealing with major injuries to both adults and children they leave the forces and are unable to transfer there skills into a civilian role and have to begin completely new career.
i wish the government to develop a pathway for current and future military medics to achieve a civilian recgonised qualificaiton such as paramedic.
