Closed Make piercing any part of a child’s body illegal under the age of 10

It should be illegal for children under the age of 10 to have piercings of any kind (including ears). A child who does not understand the implications of piercings should not have them. A baby or toddler cannot verbally consent and should not have holes put into their body.

Many people grow up to have uneven ear piercings and believe they should have been able to make the choice over what happens to their own body.
