Rejected petition Ensure adequate numbers of policemen are available to be back on the beat

With the increased level of lawlessness, terrorist attacks murders by knife attacks/moped attacks, and general thuggery and bad behaviour. It is time increased police resources are properly funded, in order that a VISIBLE Police presence on our streets is established and maintained as a DETERRENT.

Anecdotal referencing to the lack of resources is widely available and from some Chief Constables. London especially is highlighted on a daily basis, and many categories of criminality have been downgraded/declassified.

Too many policemen being involved in bureaucratic nonsense in box-ticking to suit irrelevant civil service/government statistics, instead of policing the streets and increasing public confidence.
