It's absolutly crazy that traffic lights are on at motorway junctions in the middle of the night when there is hardly any traffic about, most have been installed to control heavy traffic loads in the day but at night they are not needed.

Aswell as saving electricity it would also be enviromentaly friendly by reducing the amount of stopping and starting of traffic thou reducing CO2 emissioins
