Petition Stop benefit fraud by ex-pats

In 2009 the government claimed that benefit fraud by ex-pats was costing the UK economy approx £63 million per year.
I understand that they are allowed to claim some benefits such as heating allowance and pensions.

What are the government going to do about it. What checks are being carried out against the various claims & undeclared rental income from properties still owned in the UK?
Maybe open up another hotline, a cheap a quick countermeasure for a problem that is set to grow due to the euro crisis

All entitlement to benefits other than a pension should be stopped immediately. Claiments should then be made to apply in person at the relevent Embassy or Consulate & their applications considered accordingly.
